The Centenary Ball finally arrived and WOW, what a great night was had by all. well done to everyone who had a hand the organisation, it was flawless. Over 240 attended the Queens Hall and were treated to a fantastic evening of wining, dining and dancing to the Dave White Swing Band and the LD&V Disco. Congratulations also to the Winter Gardens who served up a wonderful meal.

IMMi provided a set up on the balcony where people could have studio quality photos taken in all their finery, and have a copy printed there and then. (p.s. you can view the photos online on their website until August the 21st)

We also had a letter of acknowledgement from Buckingham Palace and a Signed message from Lord LLoyd Webber (Andrew) all in all a fabulous way to celebrate our first 100 years. see it below along with some photos of the event.

Sunday 8th July 2007

Open day at the Mews

The day went well with a steady stream of visitors, members old and new. Refreshments were available and people had fun trying to identify themselves and others amongst the display of photographs of shows past on the rehearsal floor (many thanks to Paul) and there was a slide show on the computer of more recent productions. it has been decided to leave the pictures on the walls for the time being at least until floor rehearsals start for Cinderella so that those members who couldn't get along and any new prospective members can have a chance to see a marvellous slice of the history of the MOS
